To the tune of the familiar DIADEMATA, this arrangement can fit several texts, as the one demonstrated here with “Crown Him With Many Crowns.” The piano will give a strong entrance as an introduction, with a few instruments joining in, and the energy builds as the piece and the instrumental texture develops. Instruments and piano will crescendo in a majestic and uplifting key change before the fourth stanza. Entrances are instinctive, harmonies are fresh, and instrumentation is not complicated. If you don’t have a strong brass section, this piece is for you! Includes a full score, a piano score, and all individual instrumental parts: flute 1-2, oboe, clarinet, percussion and timpani, violin 1-2, viola, cello, and double bass.

The beautiful accompaniment and the unison congregation could be used both congregationally and chorally (as we did)… For small to medium-sized choirs on low attendance Sundays these could be effective choral pieces or as a way to develop choir and orchestra when (as is our case) some choir members are also instrumentalists. We used three pieces as part of our Easter celebration. All were very well received. We were able to include our developing orchestra with all of it. So, thank you!
