O Lord, My Rock and My Redeemer

The popularity of this new hymn is very clear as the melody and text are accessible, deep, and folky in character. The accompaniment sets the sound world with the dotted eighth and sixteenth notes in the piano, and the complementary and mimicking pattern in the instrumental overlay. There are three stanzas offered, with a key change before the third stanza, and a short tag at the end. The arrangement is very accessible, and can be rehearsed quickly.
