Silent Night / Treble Clef B-Flat Instrument

This beloved Christmas carol was arranged specifically for our church's Christmas program, with over 600 congregational singers, a chamber orchestra, and piano accompaniment. The piano introduces a lovely sound world, with traditional harmonies and several substitutionary chords, especially in the final stanza. Arpeggiated LH patterns, and many colorful and rich harmonies as the hymn develops, this arrangement offers three stanzas (but the first could be repeated twice, in the case of four stanzas desired). The piano will cover the short key change for an instrumental break, and the voices join in on the final stanza with full voices.
