This setting of a popular Getty hymn is perfect for a worship service opener! The piano opens (solo) with an energetic 4 - bar ostinato (which can be repeated if necessary) that reappears in between both stanzas and before the repeated and final refrain. Instruments join in for the second and third stanza, and help to develop an even more brilliant final refrain (or tag), as demonstrated in this video. The melody spans a wide range of tessitura, so congregation will enjoy singing a powerful unison. As usual, flutes may play treble clef voice 1 up one octave.
