This well-known Wesley hymn uses the LENOX tune and should be felt in a slow “two.” This arrangement introduces a short motif in the piano and is restated throughout the piece in the instruments and keyboard. Instrumental ranges can be used as written, with optional 8va for flutes. Instruments play along with voices and on the key change; piano carries the rest of the material. The number of stanza repeats can be taken as desired, and are noted in each instrumental part.
