This well-loved, glorious hymn is a staple in almost every singing body of believers, and this arrangement will help you materialize the best moments in the hymn. This piece offers 3 stanzas, the first two in A-flat, and the third in B-flat, with a brief but compelling key change for the final stanza. The pianist will play both of the first stanzas solo, and the instruments join in on the first two refrains. Instrumentalists will also play along with the key change, and continue into the final stanza. At the end of the final refrain, a deceptive cadence is offered, along with a tag, or repeat, of the final "How great thou art" affirmation.
